Islam Oxygen Limited (IOPL) is a concern of Islam Steel & Re-Rolling Mills (Pvt.) Ltd. In the year 2014, it came into being as supplying and installation of Medical Gas manufacturing plant. On that situation, venturing on medical gas Pipeline system was really challenging and this was very difficult to penetrate in the market.
IOPL took the challenge, created a technical team, and trained them up from India. Gradually it expended its activities and got acceptance from clients in respect of technical and backup services.
To render smooth services, IOPL successfully installed three numbers of Oxygen Plants. Because of the unilateral activities of the few medical gas manufacturers, costumers did not have any alternative to choose. Consequently, they kept IOPL encouraging to go for manufacturing of medical gases. 18 years long experience in medical gas supply activities and continued approach by the customer have made IOPL confident to venture its journey in this sector, which eventually made them able to launch manufacturing of Medical Gases under the name of Islam Oxygen (Pvt.) Ltd. (IOPL).
This particular venture has become a landmark in the medical gas-producing sector of Bangladesh. As of now, venture is the first indigenous company capable to produce and supply all necessary medical gases (O2, N2O, N2, CO2, etc.) from it’s manufacturing base in Tarabo, Rupganj, Narayanganj and supply depots throughout the country.
At Islam Oxygen (Pvt.) Ltd. 400 employees in Various places of our country are working together towards a common goal: making our medicinal gases side more productive. For more than 3 years, Islam Oxygen (Pvt.) Ltd. has taken something as fundamental as air and turned it into ways to make plants operate cleaner and more productively, food taste better, breathing easier and manufacturing processes more efficient -- in short, to make all our lives better.
